I first want too look into different countries propaganda, so for example the main ones which are Chinese, American, British and Russian these will be the key ones that i may base my posters around. You also have the WW1 and WW2 posters to look into which are the massive basis for most modern designs in this era with lot of artist using these methods and designs in there own work.

These posters above are really obviously Russian propaganda posters this is because of a few things and that is that they use the colour red primarily throughout the whole of the poster in the text and the images. Furthermore in the images there is a lot of upwards direction from the characters in the poster and the gestures they make are always upwards.

In these posters again they seem to use a lot of red again throughout, but i think this is because red is the prime colour in there flag so the country can relate quite widely to this. Also in these images there is a lot of focus around the people and giving them lots of power in the images.

WW2

These posters are very eye catching and the main objective is too use the main focal point of the image to draw the reader in a lot more than the others this is because in the others it's all about the collars and the action. But in some respects this links to that as well and works really well using brighton colours in this bottom image.
